Child Ghosts are a subspecies of ghost and are of equal ranking with Pedigree Ghosts in the Purgatory Caste System. Unlike pedigrees, however, these ghosts are of young children and babies, usually thirteen years old or younger.
Overview
Child ghosts differ from other ghost subspecies in that regardless of their human circumstances, they will always become this type of ghost if they die at age thirteen or younger. They are typically avoided by soul-reaping ghosts, due to them having no real purpose in purgatory, although some may choose to reap them anyway to achieve higher rankings. Like pedigree ghosts, these types of ghosts have no unusual physical attributes. Their eye and Will o' Wisp color is pink.
